BDS Admission Requirements
To apply for BDS admission, certain minimum requirements must be met. Here, we provide all the details of the BDS admission requirements.
- Complete HSC/A-level/equivalent in 2023 with SSC/O-level/equivalent in 2021, or HSC/A-level/equivalent in 2022 with SSC/equivalent in 2020.
- Have a Science background, including Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in HSC/A-level/equivalent.
- Combined GPA of at least 9.00 in SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent (8.00 for tribal candidates, with no individual GPA below 3.50).
- Minimum grade point of 4.0 in Biology in HSC/equivalent.
- Be a Bangladeshi citizen.
BDS Admission Test Marks Distribution
The dental admission test is a 1-hour exam with 100 multiple-choice questions, covering Biology (30 marks), Chemistry (25 marks), Physics (20 marks), English (15 marks), and General Knowledge (10 marks). Incorrect answers result in a 0.25 mark deduction. Aim for a minimum of 40 out of 100 to pass, and your final merit list considers SSC and HSC exam grades.

Dental Admission Online Application Process
Applying for BDS Dental Admission offers two methods: Online Application and Mobile SMS. The Online Application involves applying through selected websites, while the Mobile SMS method requires sending an SMS from a Teletalk mobile number.

- Visit http://dgme.teletalk.com.bd
- Apply online between January 15, 2025, and February 03, 2025.
- Pay BDT 1,000/- using a Teletalk Sim.
- Download your admit card between June 30 and July 2, 2025.
- Take the written test on May 5, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Application By Mobile SMS
Students can also apply for admission using mobile SMS. The process is as follows.
- Send an SMS to 16222 from your Teletalk number.
- Type: Apply BDS <space> HSC Roll No. <space> HSC Registration No. <space> HSC Board Name <space> HSC Passing Year.
- Example: Apply BDS 123456 789012 Dhaka 2022.
- You'll receive a confirmation message if successful.
Application Fee Payment
- BDT 1,000/- through:
