Academic Requirements and Qualification

To be eligible for admission to IAU, applicants must meet the following criteria. Before you are going to apply, read the requirements criteria carefully.

• Passed Alim or an equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024.
• Must provide a testimonial and a Dakhil & Alim mark sheet issued by the Madrasha Head for admission.
• For Fazil, a minimum GPA of 2.5 is needed in Alim or HSC.
• For Kamil, a minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in Fazil or Bachelor's.

Applicants should make sure they meet these criteria and provide the necessary documents for a successful application to the Islamic Arabic University.

Application Process for IAU

The IAU admission process is conducted online through the university's official website. The process involves the following steps:

Step-1: Online Registration and Form Fill

• Create an account at admission.iau.edu.bd.
• Provide Dakhil/equivalent and Alim/equivalent registration numbers.
• Provide personal details and upload a recent photo; also, scan and upload the applicant's signature.
• Select a preferred madrasa from the list.
• Choose the order of preferred subjects.
• Waiting list applicants can re-select madrasa and subjects if needed.

Step-2: Unique ID and Application Confirmation

• Receive a unique ID post form completion.
• Download the application confirmation slip for record-keeping.
• Submit confirmation slip, attested mark sheet of Alim/equivalent, and a copy of the registration card.
• Pay the Tk.350 fee to the Madrasa.
• Receive the second part of the form with the Madrasa's signature and seal.
