DUET Admission Circular 2023-24

Dhaka University of Engineering Technology has recently announced the Undergraduate Admission circular 2023-24. According to the admission circular, we have added all details of the Admission process, Eligibility of the Application, and other necessary information here.

Eligibility of the Applicants

Not everyone can apply for DUET admission unless they meet specific qualifications mentioned in the application circular. Here are the simplified qualifications:

Candidates should have Bangladeshi Citizenship.
You need at least 50% marks in both exams or a GPA of 3.00 with optional subjects from any Bangladesh Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
If you have a Bangladesh Technical Education Board Diploma in Engineering/Architecture/Agriculture, you should have an average of 60% marks or a CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00.
Students who completed the Diploma in Engineering/Architecture/Agriculture in 2021 or later can apply. However, this doesn't apply to candidates in other roles, like teachers in Government or Autonomous Sector Corporations.

DUET Admission Test Exam System and Dates

Duet Authority provides the syllabus and complete instruction about the DUET admission test. Here we have added the information about the Duet admission test Ezoic

Total 300 Marks exam will be held on the Admission test. In the first paper, students have to appear in Chemistry, Physics, Math, and English. Total 20-25% marks will be in MCQ Format. The second paper will be on technical topics. Minimum Pass Marks is 40% Students have obtained 33% in both First paper and Second paper

First Paper Marks – 150 (Chemistry -40, Physics -40. Math -40 and English 40). The second paper Marks is 150 BDT. The admission test will be held on the DUET Admission Test Syllabus. You can download the DUET Admission Syllabus from the button below.

How to apply for Duet Admission

Visit http://admission.duetbd.org
Choose the "Apply Now" option after checking the admission application circular.
Complete the form with accurate SSC and HSC details; upload your photo and signature.
Click "Submit" to finish the application process.
As per the circular, pay the specified fee to confirm your application.

How to pay the Duet Application Fee?

Candidates have to pay the Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) application fee BDT 1290 Taka through Dutch-Bangla Bank Mobile Banking (Rocket), follow the instructions below:

*Dial 322# from your mobile.
Press 1 and choose "Payment."
Press 1 again and select "Bill Pay."
Enter Biller ID: 221.
Input Bill Number: Use your Application ID.
Enter your Rocket PIN when prompted.
Wait for the Payment Confirmation SMS from Rocket.
Save the Transaction ID (TxnID) from the SMS for your records.

For visual guidance, dial *322# and follow the on-screen instructions. The Bill Number in the image should be your Application ID.
